National

Curricula owned by a country or its education departments. One folder per country, named by ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code in lower case (gb/, us/, de/, …), then one curriculum root folder per instrument, e.g. gb/national-curriculum-england/.

Sub-national jurisdictions (US states, German Länder, …) nest under a state folder within their country, using lowercase local codes — keeping them tidily separate from the national instrument folders: e.g. Texas → us/state/tx/…, California → us/state/ca/…. Devolved UK curricula (Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland) are distinct instruments in their own root folders under gb/.
